Longley Old Hall
Longley Old Hall is an important, private Grade II Listed
14th century house owned by Christine and Robin Gallagher. The house has undergone
a great deal of renovation, which has revealed in the process much of its forgotten
history. The Hall was originally owned by the Wood family of Almondbury before
passing to the Ramsdens in the mid 1500s. Later additions to the house were
made in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
The house is open for pre-booked tours only.
