Holmfirth, West Yorkshire
Holmfirth is a small country town six miles outside Huddersfield,
the capital of the Holme Valley and famous heart of the popular TV programme,
Last of the Summer Wine. The Peak District National Park begins just a few miles
outside the town.
Holmfirth is the focus for an annual arts festival as well as a popular folk
festival held in the Spring.
Holmfirth has plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs as well
