Important Site Investigation Background
The Job Our client who are a small well established multi discipline design consultancy are looking to recruit a geotechnical / geoenvironmental engineer. You would be joining their busy team in the Derby office.
Applicant can range in background from Project Engineer level up to Senior Engineer.
You will be working on a variety of residential and commercial schemes and will need previous background in dealing with site investigations. You will need a firm understanding of foundations and contaminated land.
If you are coming in at Project Engineer level then you will need to be able to run site investigations with minimal supervision. At Senior Engineer level you would be expected to run your own projects without assistance. Any background of dealing with Slope stability and settlement calculations would also be beneficial.
