Bantock House

Bantock House and Park is only just over a mile out of the centre of Wolverhampton and yet it provides an ideal place for families to relax and discover some of Wolverhamptons history.

The house is named after Baldwin and Kitty Bantock, they lived their some 100years ago.

On the ground floor, you can discover more about the Bantock family and the way they lived. Take your time to browse through the family albums, peek inside drawers and soak up the Arts and Crafts inspired decor.

Upstairs, the focus changes to the men and women who shaped Wolverhampton and and the industries they created. On this floor you will find displays featureing items from their exquisite decorative arts collection, including locally made enamels, steel jewellery and japanned ware. In addition their is a newly refurbished Billiard Room and the Victorian Rooms which offer a fascinating insight into the lives of women and children during the Victorian period.

They also have a fantastic Community Gallery where temporary exhibitions are on display all year round , so their is always something new to see.

Covering over 43 acres it is a great place for a family outing,their is a childrens play area, putting green, football pitches and plenty of space to walk and play games.
