Appeal after 16 year old receives stab wounds - 14-10-2008

Police continue to appeal for witnesses following an incident in the Ward End area of Birmingham on Saturday October 11.

A 16-year-old boy was found with stab wounds on Alum Rock Road near to Woodwells Road at around 5.20pm on Saturday. It follows an incident which is believed to have involved a number of other young males.

The boy remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Police continue to investigate the incident and appeal for anyone in the Alum Rock Road, Woodwells Road or Monk Road area at around 5.15pm on Saturday to call CID at Queens Road police station on 0845 113 5000.
