Appeal for witnesses after fatal collision in Dudley - 06-09-2008

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Dudley last night.

Officers were called to Dibdale Road, Milking Bank at 10.35pm on Thursday September 4 after a Mitsubishi Shogun car was in collision with a parked vehicle, a Nissan Primastar van, which collided with three male pedestrians.

A 44-year-old man was taken to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries. Two other men, a 19-year-old and a man in his 30s, suffered minor injuries.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs. He continues to help police with their inquiries this morning.
