Fatal traffic collision: Witnesses sought - 29-08-2008

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham, which took place yesterday afternoon, Thursday 28 August.

The collision occurred between three vehicles - a motorcycle, lorry and car - at around 12:45pm at the junction of Alum Rock Road and Anthony Road in Alum Rock.

A 20 year-old man received serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He is not being named at this stage.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with information, to call the road policing unit at Nechells Green police station on 0845 113 5000.
