Appeal following fatal stabbing in Shirley Solihull - 16-05-2008

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal stabbing which occurred yesterday (Wednesday 14) in Shirley, Solihull.

The incident occurred outside an address in Berkeley Road in Solihull just before 8:15am. A woman, aged 30 was taken to hospital with wounds to her chest.

She died in hospital as a result of her injuries a short time later.

A 30 year-old woman has been arrested in connection the incident and remains in custody helping police with inquiries.
