Take a seat - 16-05-2008
|
Staff at Bantock House are looking for a new home for a bank of seating which is now surplus to requirements.
There are 25 seats across five tiers, with safety bars at the top and along the sides. The stand is around four-and-a-half metres wide, five-and-a-half metres deep and two metres high.
Bantock now longer needs the seating due to its refurbishment in recent years.
Ross Young, house steward at the Wolverhampton City Council-run attraction, said: "The seating is perfect for performances in schools or colleges or for spectators to watch sporting events either inside or outside.
"It also comes with trolley jacks to move the seating around easily. We do not wish to make profit from the seating, though the cost of removal and safety testing would be the responsibility of the new owner."
Anyone interested in acquiring the seating should contact Ross Young on 01902 552195. |
