Reappeal following fatal collision in Bloxwich - 15-05-2008

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Bloxwich on 8 May have carried out over 300 road checks this morning in a bid to trace further witnesses.

Officers spoke to motorists, pedestrians and cyclists in Harrison Street, Field Road, High Street and Revival Street a week on from the incident where 20-year-old Ian Box died following a collision.

The collision occurred at 10.30am when Mr Box was riding a motorcycle along Harrison Street in Bloxwich from the direction of Field Road and High Street.

Following today's road checks, officers are following a number of lines of enquiry.
Officers continue to appeal for the occupant(s) of a silver vehicle to come forward. It is believed the occupant(s) may have vital information to assist the investigation. The silver vehicle stopped following the collision and the driver got out and spoke to a member of the public before driving off.
