Witnesses sought in connection with armed robbery - Sandhurst
Detectives hunting robbers who stole jewellery from a house in Sandhurst last month are seeking two key witnesses.
Det Con Jon Cairns, who is leading the investigation, said: "I am appealing to two anonymous witnesses who came forward with information to contact me again.
"I would urge these two people to contact me at Maidenhead CID on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, if they still wish to remain anonymous, I would ask them to provide further information by calling the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."
At about 11am on Monday 4 August, two men wearing full-face motorcycle helmets and carrying handguns forced their way into a house in Yorktown Road. They threatened the occupants and tied them up before stealing jewellery and valuables worth a substantial sum.
Insurers acting for the owners of the stolen jewellery are offering a reward for its safe return. The reward is five per cent of the value of any property recovered, subject to the conviction of those responsible for the theft.
The police investigation into the robbery is continuing, but no arrests have yet been made. http://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/index.htm |
