Missing man - Windsor

Police are appealing for the public's help in tracing a missing man who was last seen in Windsor today (26/6).

George Dennison, aged 88, of Kent, had been on a day trip to Windsor Castle today when he went missing from his group. He was last seen near to a bus stop opposite Castle Hill just after 5pm.

He is white, 6ft 4ins, with grey short hair and was smartly dressed in grey trousers, a green zipped-up jacket and a blue and green chequered shirt.

Insp Andrew Boomer said: "We are extremely concerned about Mr Dennison's welfare as he suffers from Alzheimer's disease and is in a town he is not familiar with.

"I appeal to anyone who has seen a man of his description or may know of his whereabouts to contact police immediately."

Anyone with information about Mr Dennison's whereabouts should contact Thames Valley Police on 0845 8 505 505. If you don't want to speak to police and don't want to leave your name contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
