Man Hunted by Police - 27-08-2008

Police are hunting a man who is wanted for breach of court bail.

Andrew Atherton, 33, of Wooddagger Close, Hindley, Wigan has been charged with burglary and appeared before Bolton Magistrates' Court on 25 July 2008.

He was bailed to reappear on 13 October 2008 and bail conditions were imposed by the court that meant he had to live and sleep at his home address and a curfew was imposed between 8pm and 7am each day.

However, officers in Wigan discovered he has breached those conditions and
he is currently wanted.

Police are appealing to anyone who sees Atherton - who also goes by the names of Andrew Smith and Andrew Garrett - or who knows of his whereabouts to come forward and call Wigan Police Station on 0161 872 5050 or
Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
