British Musical Fireworks - 5th - 7th October

British musical fireworks championships are being held this at Kings Gardens, Southport from the 5th to the 7th October 2007. The championships are held over three days, with two displays each evening lasting sixteen to eighteen minutes in duration, fired to a musical theme. Each competitor selects a unique musical programme, which is played at the venue so the fireworks can be synchronised and enhance the emotional experience. A true festival of sound and fireworks which attracts over 10,000 spectators each evening.
