10th August: ‘Kylie Mania'. Kylie Minogue tribute artist, Adele Rankin, from Channel 4 television show, Musicality, will entertain the masses with hits including Locomotion, Spinning Around and Can't Get You Out of My Head. There will also be performances by an international cast of singers and dancers. Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, has been a long-time supporter of Birmingham Children's Hospital. Last year the park donated £53,623 to the hospital, which was raised through ticket sales at a Family Fun Day in June. Colin Bryan, the theme park's managing director, said: "People who come to our summer concerts will not only see some amazing musical performances and a sensational firework display but they will also help support Birmingham Children's Hospital and its dedicated staff."The money raised will make a big difference to many children and their families. Drayton Manor Theme Park has built a close relationship with the hospital over the past few years and we look forward to further fundraising events in the future." Tracy March, Director of Fundraising at Birmingham Children's Hospital, added: "The Drayton Manor Fun Day is a highlight of our fundraising year, giving families a great, affordable day out while still raising much needed funds for us. The hospital has an ambitious vision to deliver the best healing environment for children in the world, because our children deserve the best, this will only be achieved with the help of others. Thank you."
