Atonement Exhibition at Preston Hall Museum - 14-07-2008

ATONEMENT EXHIBITION AT PRESTON HALL MUSEUM

PHOTOGRAPHS revealing the transformation of Redcar beach to a World War
II battle zone will be on display at Preston Hall Museum from Friday,
July 18 to Saturday, September 6.

The free exhibition will show the work of local professional
photographer Pam Ainsley who recorded the filming of the key scenes for
World War II epic Atonement.

Councillor Mary Womphrey, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for Arts,
Leisure and Culture, said: "This is a great chance to see how Redcar
temporarily time-travelled back to World War II and is a must see
exhibition for anyone who enjoyed Atonement."

Preston Hall Museum is open 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday and 11am - 4pm
Saturday and Sunday.  To find out more, call (01642) 527375.
