Pam Ainsley Msc, BA(Hons) ABIPP, ASWPP, ABPPA 2006 AUGUST Atonement was filmed locally on our beaches and I covered the event at that time with intention for local people, as a piece of history for the area. 2006 NOVEMBER Winner of The British Institute of Professional Photographers and Master Photographers Association UK Title in the ‘EVENTS' category for 2006. 2007 JANUARY Approached a local Museum in Redcar (where the filming had taken place) to show my images from the filming. Within minutes the Curator was delighted and a date given to show the work.. However as the exhibition area was very large some financial support to show the work to the best of my ability. 2007 FEBRUARY Due to promotion I received some sponsorship towards the exhibition of my Atonement images from 12 local Business people who liked my work. Having only 6 weeks to complete the exhibition and showing 247 framed images 2007 APRIL Exhibition opened for 8 weeks receiving publicity of TV, radio, local and national news coverage. 2007 JUNE Exhibition is taken from the first venue. Many of the public thought as the exhibition was taken down that they would never see photographs again so many asked if a book of the images could be made to keep for a piece of history for Redcar. What The Gazette had to Say Gazette had to Say 2007 JULY Nominated by members of the public for Woman Entrepreneur of the year 2007 due to my Atonement work. 2007 AUGUST After 2 months of designing the book flew out to Belgium to the printers of the Album and placed my first order. 2007 SEPTEMBER Atonement the film is released here in the UK. The local premiere was at Redcar where the filming took place. Atonement Album was released into local stores at the same time as the film release date. 2007 OCTOBER Won an AWARD OF EXCELLENCE with the British Institute of Professional Photographers and Master Photographers Association. Second exhibition opened at another venue for 4 weeks. 2007 NOVEMBER Runner-up in the North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 due to the photography in Atonement Exhibition was transferred between second and third venue. 2007 DECEMBER I accepted the invitation to the Premiere of Atonement in LA. meeting all the stars from the film including James McAvoy and Keira Knightley at an after show party. 2008 FEBRUARY Went to LA to cover the OSCARS and photographed on the red carpet. 2008 APRIL Exhibtion in Art Circles, 18 The Shambles in York until 31st May 2008. Thereafter is moves back to the locality, to Preston Park for July and August this year. 2008 MAY I was requested to take some images by a top leading Photographic magazine testing a new camera on the market. I produced a selection of images and the editor chose the photograph of the River Tees by night from Stockton Riverside. The image is spread over a double page and puts Stockton on the map. Also That Same Photo is on the Home Page of CityLocal Stockton-On-Tees 2008 MAY I was given the opportunity to document images of a new series produced by NBC to be shown in USA and later in the UK. The series of Crusoe involves many well known actors including Sean Bean, Sam Neill, Phillip Winchester and actress Anna Walton . I was on set for the production filmed in the York area. 2008 June I have been requested to take the images again at Redcar beach for the Air Ambulancecharity on July 20th 2008 . It is expected more than 1200 bikini clad ladies on the beach at Redcar at 11a.m. to set a world record and to be adjudicated by the Guinness Book of Records.
