See Saltholme on last guided ride - Saturday, October 11

CYCLISTS are invited to jump in the saddle this weekend for the last in this year's Guided Cycle Rides from Stockton Council.
The Council's Road Safety team is leading the ride on Saturday, October 11 with a two-and a half-hour tour of the River Tees and surrounding area.
The ten-mile ride, starting at 10.30am from the Tees Barrage, takes in paths on the Tees riverside and a crossing of the Transporter Bridge.
The ride will then move on to the new Saltholme RSPB wetland bird sanctuary - Britain's newest and largest RSPB site.
Assistant Warden Toby Collett will give a guided tour of the site before the ride returns to the Barrage using the newly created cycle routes on Port Clarence Road, Haverton Hill Road, and Newport Bridge Approach Road.
The ride is free however participants must bring 60p for the Transporter Bridge fare. Trained ride leaders and marshals will lead the guided ride. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
