GET ACTIVE - STAY ACTIVE
STOCKTON Council's Leisure and Sports Development team is encouraging everyone to come along and take part in Get Active Stay Active programme aimed at those 16 and over who don't take part in regular exercise.
The ten-week programme is being held at schools and community centres throughout the Borough with a whole host of sports on offer.
Sessions cost £2 and activities include badminton, netball, basketball, and hockey and it's the ideal opportunity to try something different, meet new people and increase fitness at the same time.
Councillor Ann McCoy, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for Adult Services and Health, said: "It's not always easy to get motivated to exercise but we encourage everyone to come along where they will receive a warm welcome and support to take part in regular exercise which they are sure to enjoy!"
