Dance the night away -all in a good cause - October 17 from 7.30 - 11.30pm

A STOCKTON Council respite unit is inviting people to kick up their heels this month to raise money for disabled children.

Hartburn Lodge Short Breaks Unit is holding a Ceilidh on Friday, October 17 from 7.30 - 11.30pm at the Swan on Wolviston Road, Billingham.

The evening will feature singing and dancing as well as traditional music from band Blind Stag. The Hartburn Lodge Short Breaks Unit provides help and support to families with children with disabilities through a range of activities including social outings and trips.

The money raised from the evening will help to subsidise a grant received from Stockton Youth Bank to take five young people from Hartburn Lodge Disabled Children's Short Break Unit on a trip to Disneyland Paris.

Tickets for the evening cost £5 and include a Pie and Pea Supper. For more information about the Lodge or to book a ticket, call Jayne Brechner, Senior Care Officer, on (01642) 527994.
