IT'S THE WAY YOU TELL 'EM
THE secrets of the ancient art of storytelling will soon be revealed at Stockton Central Library.
A new monthly storytelling club, Tees Valley Tales, begins on Wednesday, October 15, from 7-9pm and is aimed at people who enjoy telling or listening to stories.
Tees Valley Tales is suitable for anyone who wants to have a go at telling a story or who are just keen to be entertained by hearing tales.
Councillor Mary Womphrey, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure & Culture, said: "Stockton's libraries offer much more than a book loan service. This new storytelling club is one of many activities available at our 12 libraries throughout the Borough and I'd urge anyone who has not visited a library for some time to pop in - I think they may be surprised at what's on offer."
The first session is free and will include light refreshments.
