Get in a pickle at farmers' market - Thursday, 26 June.
|

FOLLOWING the huge success of the first Farmers' Market in Stockton, more stalls will be returning on Thursday, 26 June.Visitors will be able to choose from a wide array of goodies including everything from bacon, buffalo meat, pickles, game, cheese and poultry. The Farmers' Market takes place on the last Thursday of each month on Stockton High Street. The first one proved a great success with many stalls selling out. Potto Grange Organic Meats will also be joining producers from Tees Valley, County Durham and North Yorkshire at the Market this week, taking the number of stalls to 11. While browsing the stalls, visitors will also be able to enjoy the sounds of Peruvian Pipe Band, Apu, who will be performing throughout the day.Councillor Bob Cook, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for Transport and Regeneration, said: "We are always striving to extend the retail offer we provide in Stockton Town Centre and the Farmers' Market proved a huge success last month." The Farmers' Market is on from 10am until 4pm http://www.stockton.gov.uk/ |
