Cheerleading Fun for the Girls AND Boys!

Stockton School Sports Partnership has introduced Cheerleading sessions into
local primary schools in order to increase participation in dance based
physical activity.

 

Community Dance Coach 'Lyndsey Davis' will be providing this fun and
exciting form of exercise on a termly basis, the children will be taught
basic principles of fitness and dance movement, cheer moves, formations,
rhythm, and timing.

"The boys have all been a little apprehensive to start with, but when they
find out that Cheer Dances are not all about pom poms and they can be very
funky and 'street style' they probably enjoy it even more than some of the
girls!" Lyndsey Davis
