Bringing home the bacon - Thursday May 29.

EVERYTHING from bacon to buffalo meat and pickles to poultry will be on sale at a special Farmers' Market in Stockton. Producers from Tees Valley, County Durham and North Yorkshire will be on Stockton High Street for the market on Thursday May 29.Visitors to the Market will be spoilt for choice with the sale of fresh farm meats and poultry, game, fresh Whitby fish and cheeses. There will also be speciality breads and patisserie, jams, pickles and chutney, organic vegetables and buffalo meat - including the famous Langthornes' Buffalo Burgers.This month's Market will be the first of what will be a regular event - the Farmers' Market will take place on the last Thursday of each month from 10am until 4pm.
