A SERIES of weekly workshops, led by artists, are taking place at venues across Stockton Borough. The workshops are free and open to anyone aged over 18 years, so whether you are a complete novice or a budding Picasso, you can head along.SPARK on Bishopton Road West holds a session each Thursday from 10am until noon. The Willows Centre on Northport Road, Portrack, has workshops each Tuesday from 10am until noon. Over 50s can head along to South Thornaby Community Centre, on Havilland Road, each Thursday from 10am until noon or to the New Life Resource Centre in Billingham on Fridays from 10am until noon.
The workshops aim to lift the spirits and unleash artistic creativity. They are as a result of joint working between Stockton Council's Arts Development Team and North Tees PCT.
