Violin Concerto Beethoven
Symphony No 1 Walton

Virtuoso violinist Ruth Palmer, winner of the Young British Classical Performer in 2007, returns to the Weston Auditorium. Ruth will perform one of the most important works in the violin repertoire, Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major.

The second half of this concert will feature Symphony No 1 by William Walton, one of the most popular British composers. This symphony is a landmark of English composition and represents the most widely admired of all Walton's work.
