Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a property in Kings Copse Road, Hedge End between 3 and 4pm on Thursday, October 2. It is believed entry was gained to the front door of the property while the homeowner was working in the back garden. Approximately ten pairs of cufflinks, worth £200 in total, and jewellery, worth £300 in total, was taken from an upstairs bedroom. The stolen jewellery includes a gold ring with four large diamonds, a gold necklace with a teardrop charm and a gold bracelet with a rabbit charm. Anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in Kings Copse Road last Thursday afternoon, or may have been offered the stolen items for sale is asked to contact PC Claire Ratcliffe at Eastleigh police station on 0845 045 45 45, or call Crimestoppers, the charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
