Police in Romsey are investigating a report of a man indecently exposing himself near Romsey Abbey Primary School. A man has been reported to be acting inappropriately by a parent picking their child up from school at approximately 3.20pm on Thursday, May 8. The man was standing near a tree and some bushes in a grassed area opposite the school. At no point did the man attempt to approach or touch any of the children. He is described as: * White
* Approximately 60 years of age
* Grey/white hair with a beard
* Wearing a green shirt and beige trousers Police Constable Sharon Hargreaves of Romsey police station said: "I would appeal to anyone else who may have witnessed this incident or has information about any similar incidents in the area to contact us. "We are conducting additional high-visibility patrols in the area and are working with local schools to ensure pupils are given appropriate advice. Parents and pupils can also contact schools to report any suspicious activity if they do not feel comfortable speaking to police directly." |
