Forest Bus childrens charity
The Forest Bus is a mobile community development project. As a local charity we support the needs of local communities, children and young people in the New Forest and Romsey area of England.
We employ a team of qualified youth, community and play workers, who work with children, young people and their families. We provide mobile after school groups and mobile youth centers for children and young people living in ‘hard to reach’ rural and urban communities.
We also provide parent and toddler groups and family groups for communities where there are no places to meet.
Because we are a mobile project we are able to deliver work in isolated areas of urban and rural disadvantage by taking our vehicles - " mobile community centres on wheels " - onto the doorstep of the community.
Using specially developed bespoke custom vehicles, Forest Bus offer creative workshops such as Play development, bush craft & survival skills, health education with cooking and training 'cook & eat', bicycle repairs and safety, music production and music technology for youth, karaoke with vocal training and performance coaching, yound childrens activities such as salt dough and gloop!!
Forest bus act as a mobile community center with 3 heavy duty vehicles. We operate the following, mobile youth club, mobile creche, mobile play, mobile karaoke, mobile stage, mobile festival.
Our amazing mobile workshops our available for private hire as well as for free to needy communities and organisations. For corporate events, bithday parties and weddings. All proceed will go to help local children and young people.
