Free IT Training at Central Library - 04-08-2008
|
Free IT training sessions are being introduced at Reading Central Library.
The sessions are ideal for first time computer users and people who would like to learn basic computer skills such as how to set up an email account, use the internet etc.
The first of the training sessions will take place on the third floor of the town centre library on Wednesday, September 3rd.
The sessions will run every Wednesday from 9am-10.30am.
By the end of each session, participants will have learnt how to set up their own email account and search for information and navigate between web pages on the intranet.
Graeme Hoskin, Lead Councillor for Culture and Sport, said: "With the introduction of these IT courses at Central Library, it goes to show that Reading's library service is expanding and there is always something going on that residents can get involved in." |
