Watch the Oxford Road neighbourhood team on TV - Reading - 16-07-2008

The Oxford Road neighbourhood policing team will feature in a television documentary which will be shown later this week.

ITV's Inside Crime has been out on patrol with the team on a number of occasions in the past six weeks as they go about tackling the main priories in the area.

Viewers will be able to see the team executing drug warrants and tackling the prostitution issues in the area.

Insp Andy Bellman, from the Oxford Road team, said: "I think the programme highlights the good work that the team has been carrying out recently to tackle the problem issues that have been identified by the community.

"I feel it will give residents an insight into how police are working to resolve these issues and the different methods and tactics we use.

"Oxford Road is served by a strong, hard-working team and I think it is good to have their work highlighted in this way."

The first part of the programme can be seen on Thursday (July 17) at 10.30pm on ITV London or on July 31 on ITV Meridian at 11pm.

The second part can be seen on July 31 at 10.30pm on ITV London and on August 14 on ITV Meridian at 11pm.
