Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust has invested in a new property which will be home to outpatient clinics and services. The Trust is delighted to confirm that it has completed the purchase of Princes House on London Road, Reading. The three story former office block will be transformed to provide a new home to outpatient services currently based on the Craven Road site. John Wood, the Trust's Managing Director of Hub Development, said: "We are extremely please to have completed the purchase of this property which will be developed to provide outpatient services. This is an opportunity to move existing services to the new property to unlock space on our Craven Road site for redevelopment, rather than expanding services. "When we became a foundation trust we pledged to reinvest any surpluses into local facilities and services and this is another example of us meeting this pledge. Princes House will offer bright modern accommodation for our staff and patients, while creating the opportunity for us to develop facilities on the Craven Road site." A planning application for a change of use has now been submitted. Work will start on creating the new interior once permission has been obtained. |
