Shooting – Caversham - update - 12-05-2008

Police have this morning (12/5) arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Caversham on May 5.

He is currently in custody.

Police are also executing a number of search warrants at addresses around Reading today.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, remains in a stable condition in hospital.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to this incident and anyone with any information should contact Det Ch Insp Mick Saunders via 0845 8 505 505.
