Police appeal following burglary in Portsmouth - 14-10-2008
|
Police are appealing for witnesses after a house was burgled in High Street, Portsmouth.
Between 4.30pm and 6pm on Wednesday, October 8, the 42-year-old man living at the property was out, and when he returned he found that a side door had been forced open.
The man's wallet had been taken from inside the address, containing a bank card and other personal cards.
PC Sharon Baber said, "I would appeal to anyone who may have heard or seen someone breaking into the property - when they forced entry they broke a pane of glass which was in the door, and that would have made a loud sound. If you think you can help please contact police." Can you help? Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Sharon Baber at Fratton police station on 0845 045 45 45 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111. Mini-Com users can call 01962 875000. News Source: www.hampshire.police.uk |
