|
Police in Portsmouth are appealing for witnesses after a woman broke her leg after getting off of a bus in Kingston Road, Portsmouth.
On Tuesday, September 30 between 5pm and 5.20pm, the 57-year-old local woman was getting off of the number 23 Stagecoach bus on Kingston Road, at a stop opposite Hale Court.
As the woman got off of the bus she fell and broke her leg.
Police are appealing for witnesses after reports that the bus may have still been in motion as the woman was exiting the doorway.
The woman was taken to Queen Alexandra hospital where she underwent an operation to insert a pin in her leg to heal the break.
PC Paul Jennings said, "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this incident, which has resulted in a very nasty injury for the woman involved." Can you help?
