Operation Samber - Youth arrested following serious road traffic collision in Waterlooville - 09-05-2008

A 17-year-old youth has been arrested following a serious road traffic collision on Chaucer Close in Waterlooville.
At around 7.44pm on Wednesday, May 7, the red Fiat Punto he was driving collided with the rear of a white Ford Iveco Daily which itself then went into a black Alfa Romeo.
Both the Ford and the Alfa Romeo were parked and unoccupied at the time.
The front seat passenger of the Punto, a 17-year-old local male, received serious injuries and remains in a critical condition at Southampton General Hospital.
The two rear seat passengers, two local females aged 17 and 18, received slight injuries.
The 17-year-old driver was questioned on suspicion of driving without due care and attention. He was bailed until Tuesday, August 26.
