Daventry North Rural Safer Community Team have a new sergeant, his name is Paul Valentine. Paul has sixteen years experience as a Police Officer and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the SCT. Before moving to Daventry, Paul was at Northampton Castle Ward SCT. After numerous years of being based in Northampton, he decided to make the change as he had "never worked in a rural team before and is keen to meet his new challenge with energy and enthusiasm". Paul is keen to meet the community and establish what the three priorities are Sergeant Valentine said "In order to establish what the community want I need to hold surgeries and interactions, where members of the community can chat to my team and myself and voice their concerns, worries and views. There has got to be community engagement for the SCT to work effectively and I am keen for the SCT to be proactive and working in conjunction with other agencies and the community." News Source:
