BRISTOL OUR NEXT PRIORITY, SAYS MALLINDER European Challenge Cup rugby returns to Franklin's Gardens this weekend with the visit of Bristol, and director of rugby Jim Mallinder says that the match against the West Country outfit is important as the Saints look to keep their strong Pool 2 campaign going. Saints currently lie top of Pool 2 following bonus point wins over French clubs Toulon and Montpellier. Mallinder says that a home win on Saturday against Bristol will help the team generate momentum but also called on the Saints supporters to continue their good work of the season so far. "The Challenge Cup is a good opportunity for us to continue our development as a team," he said. "But anyone thinking that two more wins against Bristol are guaranteed should think again. They have been playing well over the past few weeks and will be difficult opponents for us. "A full Franklin's Gardens is very important for us. All season the crowd have generated a superb atmosphere that has given our players a massive boost when they run out onto the pitch. It would be fantastic for us to have as many supporters as possible on Saturday." With this in mind the club is offering all season ticket holders a superb buy-one-get-one-free offer on extra tickets for this match. So you can bring two friends or family members for the price of one! This offer is only applicable when ordered by season ticket holders and ends Friday 5th December. Season ticket holders should call the Saints Ticket Office on 01604 581000 to take up this offer. Match tickets can also be ordered 24 hours a day via the Saints website. http://www.northamptonsaints.co.uk |
