Arson at children's play area - Milton Keynes - 18-09-2008

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fire at a children's play area in Milton Keynes.
On Sunday 31 August at approximately 2.50am on the Mill Field, Stony Stratford (opposite Horn Lane) a significant amount of damage was caused to the play area by a fire and is being treated as arson.
As a result the play area is now unsafe for children to use and has had to be cordoned off to the public.
Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) for Stony Stratford, James Down, said: "This is the second spate of damage caused to the play area this year and I am urging anyone with information to come forward.
"It is vitally important that the offenders are caught to deter any potential future reoccurrences of damage to the play area.
"If you witnessed the incident or have any information contact me, the local police officers or Crimestoppers."
