Robbery at Agora amusements - Bletchley - 01-09-2008

Police are appealing for information in connection with a robbery at the Agora Amusements in Queensway, Bletchley on Thursday (28/8).
At about 8.30pm two men entered the amusements and threatened the lone female assistant with a knife. She was forced to open the change machine and the offenders stole approximately £1,000 cash from inside. Several hundred pounds of the stolen money was made up of one pound coins.
Both men are about 5ft 8ins and believed to be white. One wore a dark coloured Lonsdale hooded top, black trousers, white trainers and black gloves with a white circle of the back of his hand. The second was wearing a black parka-style jacket, blue jeans and dark trainers.
Det Con James Shepherd, leading the investigation, said: "The woman was extremely frightened by the attack and we want to catch these men before they can strike again. We would like to hear from anybody who may have seen these men or have information about them. We also want to hear from anyone who has been offered a substantial amount of £1 coins in exchange for notes or if anyone has been seen with a large amount of coins."
