Robbery - Milton Keynes - 01-09-2008

Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery on Tuesday (26/8) in Milton Keynes.
A 13-year-old boy had been in the Westcroft District centre near to Morrison's with four friends. They separated around 8.30pm and the victim walked along the redway which leads out on to the V4, at the junction of Alton Gate.
As he passed Alton Gate he was hit on the head from behind, he fell to the ground and was kicked in the ribs. He suffered bruising and received medical advice. His mobile phone, a black Sony Ericsson W850i was stolen.
The boy did not see his offender or anyone approaching before the incident.
Det Con Wayne Watson, investigating the robbery, said: "Although it was getting dark at the time of the robbery there was street lighting in the area and the main road can be quite busy.
"I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, have any information or saw anyone acting suspiciously to contact me or Crimestoppers."
