Police in Milton Keynes are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a woman who has not been seen since December last year. Christabel Amenu, aged 26 from Conniburrow, Milton Keynes, was last seen by her sister on Christmas Day at their mother's house in Welwyn Garden City. She was reported missing by her sister on 8 May. As far as police are aware this was the last definite sighting of Christabel by either her friends or family. Det Insp Ray Summers, leading the investigation, said: "We are very concerned that Christabel has not been seen for such a long period of time. We are carrying out a number of enquiries but would like to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen Christabel or had any contact with her since December. If Christabel herself sees this appeal we would ask her to contact us as soon as possible to let us know she is ok. "We have released her photo in the hope that someone will recognise her and let us all know that she is safe and well." Anyone with information about Christabel can contact Det Insp Ray Summers at Milton Keynes police station via the 24-hour non-emergency number, 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to speak to the police, call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111. You can also give information to the police in person by visiting any police station.
