Police are appealing for information after the grounds-mans' warehouse was broken into sometime between 8pm on Saturday (28/6) and 1pm on Tuesday (1/7). Thieves broke into the warehouse and stole some electrical machinery including generators, a water pump and a lawnmower. Investigating officer, PC Robin Barrett, said, "The thieves stole machinery that would have needed to have been transported by a vehicle. "I would also like to remind residents to be aware of anyone who might be offering this machinery for sale and that handling stolen goods is an offence." Anyone with any information should contact PC Barrett at Oxford police station via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don't want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
