Woman Trapped Under Bus In Reading - 04-07-2008

At 1.20pm today (3/7) police received a report that a woman had been involved in a collision with a bus in Market Place, Reading. The woman was trapped by the bus and had sustained a suspected head injury.

The woman has since been taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment. It is believed her injuries are not life threatening.

Road closures were set up in the area but these have since been lifted.

The woman is 42 years old and from Calcot in Reading.
