The Barton neighbourhood policing team are opening the doors of their police office to the public every Tuesday from today (13/5). The team will be holding a surgery every week between 1pm and 4pm and are encouraging residents of Barton to pop in and talk to them about any issues they may have. Police Community Support Officer Rachel Cooper said: "This is a chance for residents to raise any concerns they may have and get advice, or just to drop by for a chat. "Since we opened our police office in Barton in March we have been more accessible to the public and I hope they have seen an increased police presence in the neighbourhood. "We will be distributing posters and flyers around the neighbourhood to make sure people are aware that they are welcome to pop in and have a chat with the team on Tuesday afternoons." Members of the Barton neighbourhood team can be contacted via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505 or email BartonRisinghurst@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk. In an emergency dial 999.
