Salary: £13-18,000 pa (Depending on experience) + benefits

Our client is a leading UK defence contractor supplying integrated system solutions to the UK and allied armed forces directly or through global prime contractors.

Brief Job Description:
• Provide administrative support to staff working in a busy HR Department
• The ideal candidate would be someone who is a self-starter, has good administrative skills, is keen to learn new and improve their skills, is not afraid to undertake new tasks, is open to change and demands to be kept busy.
• The role holder will be expected to deal with a wide range of people outside the department by telephone and face to face.
• Additional training will be provided where necessary.

Essential Experience:
• Able to cope with and prioritise multiple tasks. Good organisational skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Good communicator who seeks to properly understand what is required and is capable of responding succinctly.
• Prepared to take a proactive position and interface with staff at all levels

Desirable Experience:
• SAP and or Peoplesoft experience would be helpful.
• Payroll experience.
