Man in court after fail to stop collision - 18-11-2008

A man has been charged after a fail to stop road traffic collision.

At 10.25pm on Friday 14 November 2008, a liveried police car collided with a Ford Focus on Crostons Road, Bury.

It is believed the two cars were travelling in opposite directions on Crostons Road, when the Focus collided with the police car.

Michael Garrett (born 26/07/1988) of Birks Drive, Bury was charged with dangerous driving, aggravated taking a vehicle without consent, drink driving, driving while disqualified and failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic accident.

He is due to appear at Bury Magistrates Court this morning, Monday 17 November 2008.
