Highways Agency advises of abnormal load movement from Ellesmere Port to Stafford - 11-05-2008

Drivers are being advised that an electrical transformer is due to be moved from Ellesmere Port to Stafford.

The movement is being undertaken over a three day period to minimise the impact on other road users.

The journey will take place during off-peak daylight hours to ensure the safe passage of the load and safety to other road users. The load will be fully escorted by Police.

The transformer will travel from Ellesmere Port Docks to Kelsall, Cheshire on Monday 12th May 2008 at approximately 09.30 to arrive at approximately 13.00.

The second part of the movement will begin on Tuesday 13th May 2008 from Kelsall to Browns Bank, Cheshire, at approximately at 09.30 to arrive at approximately 16.00.

The final part of the movement will commence from Browns Bank on Wednesday 14th May 2008 at 09.30 and will arrive at Stafford at 14.00.
