Manchester United FC and partner charity the Cystic Fibrosis Trust have teamed up once again to host an abseil from the North Stand at Old Trafford to raise vital funds for people with Cystic Fibrosis.

The free-air abseil, which takes place on Saturday 20 September, will give hundreds of daredevil fans and fundraisers the opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of the pitch as they abseil 140 feet into the Theatre of Dreams.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the UK’s most common, life-threatening, inherited disease affecting 8,000 people including nearly 400 in the Greater Manchester area. Funds raised from the abseil will pay for the costs of young people with CF trying out a new, potentially life saving treatment.

Participants are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £140 (which includes a £15 booking fee payable on booking). Those who raise more than £500 in sponsorship will be entered into a draw to win a football signed by the Manchester United team and a Museum and Stadium Tour.
