The Centre for Learning and Teaching (CeLT) is hosting a series of seminars which will be held monthly during term time in the Academic Practice Room.
The seminars will be delivered by practitioners from across MMU, including Senior Learning and Teaching Fellows and Fellows in Academic Practice. 
Seminars will be held between 1pm and 2pm on the dates indicated, with refreshments available from 12.30pm.

Dates and titles for the summer term are:

April 23: 'The inter-relation of assessment, teaching and learning'  - Professor Harry Torrance, who is Professor of Education and Director of the Education and Social Research Institute, MMU. Harry has conducted a large number of studies of the impact of assessment on curriculum, teaching and learning, in primary, secondary and post-compulsory educationMay 21: 1-1.30pm: 'Autonomy, motivation and IT skills: Impacts on student engagement with e-learning in Level 1 Physiotherapy students' - Claire Hamshire, Department of Physiotherapy and Rod Cullen, CeLT.
1.30-2pm: 'Why MMU Cheshire? A cross-faculty study of undergraduate destination choices' - Susan Curtis, Department of Business and Management Studies, MMU CheshireJune 18: 1-1.30: 'A practical route to informing student self-development needs' - Gill Homan, MMUBS.
1.30-2pm: 'Blended learning in action: a success story - David Tucker, MMUBS.If you wish to attend any of these seminars, please register on-line. Refreshments will be available from 12.30pm.
